1990年のファーストビンテージから高評価を得た、現在ではオレゴンのトップワイナリーの一つ。 ワイナリーの名前Serene はオーナー夫妻の娘の名前から取っている。
くぼ地の地形をうまく生かしたグラヴィテイフロー(Gravity-Flow:醸造時にポンプを使わず落差をつ使って果汁やワインを移動させる仕組み)を採用した大きな施設はとてもきれいで周りの景観とマッチしいる。
